Just picked up a copy of Robinson Crusoe, copy write 1963, for a thrilling $2.99 (one of the reasons I love being an English major- the cheap second hand books).

Let’s take a moment to admire this beautiful cover art work… Polly want a cracker?

  1. Ah, gotta love those old paperbacks. I trust this is an unabridged edition?

    • Yes it is unabridged- I would hate to think what it would be like if this were not… I don’t think Defoe can elaborate any more about one man on a deserted island! I am beginning to feel like I’m on a deserted island slowly losing my connection with society because it is taking me so darn long to read it. If I start building canoes and fortifying my apartment with my bare hands it might be time to start worrying…

  2. Damn, I wish I had his style. Just look at that hat! And to think I spent full price on mine, haha. Thanks for posting that pic.
